Our Tilt & Turn windows are traditionally a European style of window but are perfectly designed for the Australian lifestyle as well, offering a lovely contemporary appearance and smooth functionality. They are incredibly easy to operate. With a simple twist of the handle, the window tilts inwards from the top for normal ventilation. An easy half-turn of the handle allows you to open the window the whole way from the side for maximum ventilation, or for ease of cleaning the exterior glass (from inside!).
The great news is that we can design Tilt & Turn windows in many different layouts to suit your requirements. A single Tilt & Turn Window, or team it up with a fixed panel on the left or right – 50/50 split or just make a third openable. For taller windows, maybe a fixed lower panel window, or for wider windows go with a larger fixed centre panel window and a Tilt & Turn window on each side. The choice is yours!
For heritage double hung window replacements, you need not worry, we can include transoms and mullions and georgian bars to visually reproduce the look of the old windows, but with new uPVC Double Glazed thermally efficient, low maintenance windows.
For windows at height a limiter system can be fitted to any applicable window. This allows the tilt opening only and prevents the window from fully opening unless the key is inserted in the handle. A really good safety option.
