There are a multitude of configurations for Awning & Casement Windows to suit any situation, and we can even do bottom hinged inward opening motorised Awnings perfect for clerestory windows.
There are a couple of options for hardware: the first is the Truth Hardware winder with side sash locks that draw the sash against the seal to ensure no air gaps between the frame and the sash. The second option is a lockable handle with friction stays. The only drawback with this kind of system is the need for a retractable style of insect screen as the handle is mounted on the sash.
For heritage double hung window replacements, you need not worry, we can include transoms and mullions or Georgian bars to visually reproduce the look of the old windows, but with new uPVC Double Glazed thermally efficient, low maintenance windows.
For bedroom windows at height a limiter system will be fitted restricting the opening.
